Troubleshooting Boot from USB

  1. Make sure the USB really is bootable.
  2. Make sure the PC is set to boot from the USB Drive.
  3. Make sure the USB is formatted as FAT32 and not NTFS!
  4. Are you on Windows 8/10 or an EFI/UEFI PC?
  5. Don’t unzip the ISO image!
  6. Don’t directly open the downloaded ISO image.
  7. Test the USB on another PC.
