Kuretake and ZIG ZIG: ‘ZIG’ is the brand name for Kuretake’s pen and marker which has been used and loved by many people. From the original product name of ‘Kuretake ZIG’, we decided to establish ‘ZIG’ as the general brand of Kuretake Pens and Markers.
How do you clean Colour brushes?
Wash gently using a little bit of mild soap (or a gentle dishwashing liquid). Dab the brush gently onto the piece of soap, then work up a lather in a small container or the palm of your hand if you’re not using any toxic pigments or solvents. Rinse and repeat until there’s no trace of any color coming out.
Are zig markers water based?
The Zig Art and Graphic Twin markers are also waterbased, although they are not permanent once dry, and can be used as watercolor markers.

How do you clean brushes with vinegar?
In a small bowl, make a disinfecting vinegar solution that’s one part vinegar and two parts water. Dip the clean brush into the solution and swish it around for about one minute. Try to avoid fully submerging the brush. Then rinse.
