In Empyrion, you can play single player or multiplayer (with or against your friends). Besides single player mode, Empyrion let’s you play multiplayer. For example, you can team up with your friends to play cooperatively: Invite them to join you on your mothership to operate the turrets while you pilot the ship.

What does wireless connection do Empyrion?
Empyrion – Galactic Survival It works like a wifi AP in client repeater mode. In other words, a network extender. It creates a 100m radius signal around the block and you can chain them, but there is a 500m limit and there’s some odd issue that happens if you try to place them in “connect to base” mode.
Is Empyrion galactic survival fun?
Yes. If you like the genre of game, Empyrion is a great deal. Like others have said just be ready for some bugs and a lack of polish but still very fun. I love Space Engineers but I prefer Empyrion.
How is multiplayer Empyrion?
As yet, Empyrion does NOT have dedicated multi-player servers, currently Empyrion DOES have peer-to-peer support and as such, you can join in with your friends [or they you] by setting up a game and having them join you.
