Is there lead in pen ink?
First, lead in pencils isn’t actually lead 😀 It’s actually graphite. Second, the ink in pens are usually non-toxic and you’d have to drink (that means you have to actually ingest this for it to work) an ounce or so for anything severe to happen. Printer ink, however, is slightly toxic.
How do you remove ball point pen ink from skin?
Spray or wet the area with white vinegar, then use a paper towel to rub away the ink. Vinegar contains the acetic acid, which is an effective solvent that can dissolve oil and many other compounds. Using a rough paper towel will help exfoliate the skin, and remove layers of dead skin cells that are stained by the ink.
