How much does NACD cost?
NACD Families must be paying the full program fee of $260 and their account must be up-to-date. A fee of $300 will be charged for any revisit evaluation that is rescheduled two weeks or less before the appointment. All fees are for stated services only and are subject to change without notice.
Do you get paid for being on a board?
Board members aren’t paid by the hour. Instead, they receive a base retainer that averages around $25,000. On top of this, they also may be paid a fee for each annual board meeting and another fee for meeting by teleconference.
Who appoints board directors?
According to the Companies Act, only an individual can be appointed as a member of the board of directors. Usually, the appointment of directors is done by shareholders. A company, association, a legal firm with an artificial legal personality cannot be appointed as a director.
