Is C1 Advanced level?
If a person is at C1, this is advanced level. He/she can do the following: Understand a wide range of more demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning in them. Express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for the right expression.
Is C1 level in English good?

Is C1 enough?
C1 is extremely low. C1 is extremely low for a professional translator, you won’t get anywhere with that. A C1 speaker of any language can in no way grasp the connotative meaning of expressions, get allusions, and so on and so forth, or at least do in a very minimal part. C2 speakers can do that.

What is the Cambridge English Scale?
